Appeal to help the animals

A LOCAL pet store is running an appeal to ensure abandoned animals are not forgotten this Christmas.

Pets at Home, in Cramlington, will run their Santa Paws appeal until Christmas Eve.

Support will come through donations to benefit needy animals during the festive season.

They can also choose to take part in the ‘round up to a £1’ initiative, whereby they opt to round the cost of purchases to a £1.

The difference will be donated to local animal rescues.
