Carers’ support meant so much

I AM writing this letter to praise one of our local businesses.

I live in Blyth and my mother had carers from Blyth Valley’s Disabled Forum.

She had the carers for about eight years due to her condition of multiple sclerosis.

Sadly she passed away recently and I have been overwhelmed by the response from the carers themselves who said what a lovely lady she was.

Yes, my mother had to pay for the service that they provided, but I’d class them as our second family.

My mother lived in the Cowpen area of Blyth, so generally had the same carers as each only tended to work in their own area so kept continuity for clients.

Each and everyone of them treat my mother with respect and a great amount of care.

I would like them all to know how good they are at their job. It’s a very hard job for them to do.
