THIS week sees the launch of the News Post Leader’s search for the cutest kids in south east Northumberland.

In association with Manor Walks Shopping & Leisure, Cramlington, there are three categories to be won – 0 to 18 months, 18 months to three years, and three to five years.

And an extra incentive of being a lord and lady are on offer to the winners of the three to five years group.

As well as a first prize in all categories of a canvas print of their picture and £50 in vouchers, the eldest age group will also be crowned Little Lord and Little Lady of Manor Walks Shopping & Leisure.

They will have the opportunity to become the face of Manor Walks throughout 2013.

They will have the chance to star in a campaign to launch Cramlington’s new leisure complex as an enjoyable and vibrant place to visit and will also attend a number of VIP events hosted by Manor Walks Shopping & Leisure with their families, including an exclusive family event to welcome the new Vue multiplex cinema.

We are inviting readers to take their children to a specially set-up photographic studio in Manor Walks between Thursday, December 6 and Saturday, December 15, where a professional photographer will take their picture.

All pictures will be entered into the competition, with no obligation to purchase photos, although these will be available from the photographer if anyone would like to buy one.

All entries will initially appear on the website – www.newspostleader.co.uk – once all the pictures have been put together.

Ten from each category will then be selected by our judges with these finalists appearing in the News Post Leader for a readers’ vote.

The overall winner will be selected by the in-paper reader vote.
