Helping us cope with the pain

MAY we say how much we enjoyed the two workshop meetings (Arthritis Care) on challenging pain – held in the Ashington Community Leisure Centre.

It was informative and explanatory. We were introduced to common sense gentle exercises and other established supportive associations involved in the coping with arthritis.

The two trainers giving the lectures, Mrs V A Dalgleish and Mrs M C Fishwicke, could not have been nicer.

They made the group understand how to deal effectively with our arthritic pain in positive methods rather than in a negative way.

The group got on well sharing our experiences on how we cope.

We cannot wait to join the Wansbeck Arthritis Care Group at Wansbeck District Hospital on the last Tuesday of the month, from 6 to 8pm.

Why not join us?
