Roadside mess still not cleared

WHILST walking my dog along Barrington Road in Bedlington, he gashed his paw on broken bottles kindly dumped by someone with no sense.

I telephoned Northumberland County Council to report the state of the roadside.

The lay-by is like a midden with rubbish, gas bottles, beer cans, bottles etc.

After saying I wasn’t after claiming compensation, the council stated they would send someone down to have a look at the site.

Two weeks later and it is still the same and no attempt has been made to clear the area up.

I was still left with the vet bill.
