Walk’s £2,134 in aid of lifeboat

ON September 18 last year, Jennifer Tweddle and friends did a sponsored walk in aid of the Blyth All Weather Lifeboat in memory of her late husband Barry Tweddle, who was a fisherman from Cramlington who sadly lost his life whilst fishing at Blyth, Cambois.

Jennifer, her family and friends walked from Alcan to Cambois and back again, raising a fantastic £2,134 for the lifeboat.

All the lifeboat crew and fundraisers would like to show their sincere thanks for this big donation to our lifeboat and for all the effort they put into doing this fundraising event for us, we are very grateful for any money raised.

From all the crew and fundraisers of the Blyth All Weather Lifeboat, thank you very much for the wonderful support.
