Northumberland College to hold open days

A NUMBER of open events will be held at Northumberland College this month for people who want to find out about courses and apprenticeships on offer.

On Tuesday, April 12, the college’s Ashington campus, in College Road, will open its doors between 4.30pm and 7pm.

The event will focus on courses including hair and beauty, early years, construction, art and design and travel and tourism.

On Wednesday, April 13, an event is being held at the Kirkley Hall campus, near Ponteland, between 4.30pm and 7pm.

Visitors on the day will be able to learn more about courses linked to the rural economy including agriculture, horticulture and floristry, animal care and veterinary nursing, equine, arboriculture, countryside, outdoor sport, and renewable energies.

Tutors will be available at the events to give advice on full and part time courses.
