ASHINGTON-based charity Central Palz is holding its annual 'Challenge the Community' month in May.
The charity is challenging the community to raise funds which will help local people and their carers living with life limiting illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, and motor neurone disease.
It is holding a gardeners' question time with Marian Foster and Stan and Eddie from local radio on Wednesday, May 6, in the White House Unique Club, Ashington, at 7.15pm.
Entry is £3, which can be paid on the door, or tickets are available by calling (01670) 842021.
There is also a sponsored fun walk/push on Sunday, May 10, in Riverside Park, Guide Post, and participants should meet at the car park at 2pm.
There is no entrance fee but sponsorship forms will be available.
For more information contact Central Palz on (01670) 842021.
