ADRENALINE junkies from across the country took a leap of faith on Easter Sunday when they abseiled off Bamburgh Castle.
The 30 daredevils took the 70ft plunge to raise money for the Grace House North East Children's Hospice Appeal.

The charity abseilers ranged from 16-years-old to 73, with some coming from as far away as London.

But Sarah Thompson, from Blyth, was the first one to go over the edge and received a huge cheer from friends and spectators waiting for her at the bottom.

The event has raised over £2,500 for Grace House North East Children's Hospice Appeal which is raising funds to build, equip and run an eight bed facility serving the north east between Berwick and Teesside.

For more information about the charity visit www.gracehouse.co.uk or contact Karen Larkin at kl@gracehouse.co.uk or 07846 542929.
