THE ROTARY Club of Blyth will present a special concert at the Phoenix Theatre Blyth on Saturday, April 26.
A spokesman told newspostleader.co.uk: "We are always keen to bring live music to the area and in previous years our Phoenix concerts have featured jazz, rock'n' roll, big band music and this year sees us
feature two well known acts in an evening of rhythm and blues, country and folk music.

"Piranha Brothers Unplugged and Northumberland Fayre will, I am sure, provide an excellent evening of variety and music and both have a large following here in the north east."

The four members of 'Piranha Brothers' Unplugged are Malcolm Norris, Geordie Scott, Allen Matthews and Paul Simmons whose vocal style embraces four part vocal harmonies, sounds of acoustic guitar, warm harmonics of a real wooden mandolin and songs by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young etc.

Tickets for the Rotary Concert are priced at £6 and are available from the Phoenix Theatre box office any morning Monday to Saturday from 10am to 12.30pm or by phone (01670) 367228, or from any member of Blyth Rotary or directly from secretary John Gunn on (01670) 363081.

The show starts at 7.30pm.
