HARDY bikers braved snow, hail, and freezing wind to deliver Easter eggs to the Northumberland community at the weekend.
Over 200 motorbikes joined in the Northumberland Bikers' annual Easter Egg Run, after an impressive 3,000 eggs were donated from members of the public.
Supporters also turned out to see the bikers along their route, which started Blyth's Quayside on Easter Saturday.
Northumberland Bikers member Ann-Marie Williamson said: "We were concerned that there wouldn't be enough eggs this year to ensure everyone we normally deliver to gets one.
"But I'm pleased to say that we had more than enough, once again thanks to the generosity of the local people.
"Easter has been early this year and with the poor weather it has been quieter than usual, but I am glad we gathered the eggs that we needed."
Various pubs around Blyth, Seaton Valley, and Bedlington acted as 'donation stations' for people to drop eggs off, with The Bebside Inn at Blyth collecting the most – 700 in total.
Bikers delivered the eggs to care homes, hospitals and hospices, bringing extra cheer to hundreds of patients, residents, elderly and sick children.
