THE month of May is set to be a fundraising frenzy for Central Palz in Northumberland.
All money raised from fundraising by local people and organisations goes to supporting Central Palz.

The charity, which has been running for eight years has provided a service for 520 patients and carers living with life threatening illnesses such
as cancer, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis.

The service is available in Ashington, Newbiggin, Bedlington, Guide Post, Lynemouth, Widdrington and Morpeth.

Around 100 people benefit from the service each week where they take advantage of complimentary therapies including physiotherapy, gym/fitness, counselling, social interaction and social outings with accessible transport.

The charity is holding a grand raffle on May 29 where prizes donated so far are a washing machine and powder from Proctor and Gamble, a signed Newcastle Falcons rugby ball and one year membership to the Riverside Leisure Centre.

There will also be a sponsored walk on May 18, weather permitting, anyone who wishes to join in should meet at the Blackclose Car Park at 2pm.

Anyone who would like to donate to the raffle or fundraise contact Liz Palmer on (01670) 842021.
