BEDLINGTON'S own TV star Jayne Middlemiss was back in the region at the weekend to help people get the most out of their digital cameras.
The TV presenter and former model was at the Curry's store in Newcastle encouraging digital camera owners to perfect their photography skills at a free event.

Jayne said: "From my years in front of the camera and travel all over the world with work, I've developed a keen interest in photography and can't wait to pick up some top tips to improve my own photography skills.

"Newcastle itself has some great buildings and iconic landmarks for people to capture on film, so we want to encourage Newcastle to get out and get snapping this summer."

Jayne, who worked at the Morpeth branch of Curry's when she was only 17, was in Newcastle as part of a nationwide photography event organised by Currys.
