Witness appeal following robbery in Lynemouth

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed of his wallet in Lynemouth.
The incident happened around 5pm on Tuesday when a 39-year-old local man had his wallet and cash stolen near the Seafare chip shop in West Market Street.
During the robbery the victim slipped and fell to the ground.
The robber is described as aged between 13 and 16, small with dark hair and of a beefy build, and was wearing a navy jacket.
A small burgundy car with two women was seen in area at the time and
several people were also in the street.
