Can I applaud council on beach dog decision?
ANYONE reading the letters columns in the local press would think that the total population of Newbiggin is against the ruling by Wansbeck Council to ban dogs from the beach. Not so.
We must look at alternative ways...
IN THE last week or so there has been one story that everyone's been talking about.
Now what about the horses?
OVER the years there have been many letters in your columns about dog fouling in the streets and it is pleasing to note that most owners now appear to be picking up after their pets – which is more than can be said for horse riders.
