WITH reference to the letter published by George Sanders I would like to comment on a visit I made to Newbiggin prior to the beach renovation.
Walking along the sea front I was confronted with dog mess littering the promenade obviously left by dog owners waiting for the tide to come in and wash it away. I was disgusted by the sheer ignorance of such lazy dog owners.

I commend the council on their stance of banning dogs on the beach, however, I feel sorry for responsible dog owners and suggest their anger be directed at these moronic dog owners and not the council.
