Published Date: 23 July 2008
I HAVE lived in the Cramlington area for over 13 years and I have been a regular visitor to the Manor Walks Shopping Centre.
On July 10, I parked at Sainsbury's at 10.09am and left 15 minutes later.

I returned home, and at 2.30pm the same day I returned to a different shop and parked in a different Manor Walks car park.

When I returned to my car only ten minutes lat
er an officer from the Eurocar parks accused me of parking there for over four hours.

I explained that I had not and informed him I had been at Sainsbury's in the morning but however I had returned home.

He was quite understanding and told me to write to Eurocar parks themselves and explain the situation. He did state that I should not have returned to the shops a second time in the same day.

I wonder if the shop owners are aware that their customers can only visit once a day. I felt I really had to write to yourself to perhaps warn other readers that they could be liable to a £30 fine for making two visits to Manor Walks in the same day.

I have written a letter to Eurocar parks however I will have to wait 28 days for a reply and since I only have 21 days to pay for the ticket at £30 anything over this time the ticket will cost me £50.
