Horse muck as bad as dog mess

I CONSTANTLY read about dog muck on streets etc – is everyone blind to the amount of horse muck on our roads and beaches.
We have an example of banning dogs on Newbiggin beach, yet the horses are still there and they leave more than a little pile, which encourages flies in the warmer weather.

I live in Bedlington Station and our main roads are forever covered in horse muck, which ends up all over the car wheels and eventually our
feet as it is carried into our homes.

There are never any notices about cleaning up after horses.

Can't they clean up after the horses or fit bags to them?

They do it in Prague and other European cities where there is a lot of horse traffic not just the riding schools – who should stick to the country lanes due to the amount of traffic and not the main roads for their own safety.
