I AM part of a Newcastle-based community radio station called NE1 FM where, since last summer, I have presented a show called AlterNation where I aim to play as many local unsigned bands or artists as I can.
In the last two years I have lived in the Newbiggin area, I have heard and seen several top notch local acts in venues in the Newbiggin and surrounding areas that I feel are deserving of airplay.

I would like to ask all Northumberland- based bands or artists if they have any demos that they would like played on air and if so, I would like to invite them to contact me on AlterNation@ne1fm.com.

AlterNation is on every Monday night at 7pm and NE1 FM can be heard online at www.ne1fm.com as well on 102.5FM in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne area.
