Author to talk at Cramlington library

A LOCAL author will be talking about her debut novel at Cramlington library next week.

When Karen Charlton started researching her family history she didn’t expect to discover a connection to a notorious villain who was convicted of one of the biggest robberies in 19th Century Northumberland.

The discovery inspired her debut novel Catching the Eagle, which she will take about between 6.30pm and 7.30pm at the library in support of Local History Month.
