Cramlington band to play at Tynemouth Fake Festival

An Indie band from Cramlington have been chosen as one of five local support bands for this year’s Tynemouth Fake Festival.

On Saturday, May 4, the Longsands will be showcasing their talents at this year’s festival as they take to the main stage with Afterlife, The Panic Report, Victory Mansions and Saint and the Cynics, to support headline acts Oasish, Kazabian and Blondied.

“It’s so difficult to narrow the list of supporting artists down to the final five, as there are so many good ones out there in our region,” said organiser Bec Cottrell.

The support artists take to the stage from 1pm, ahead of the headliners.

Tickets priced at £20 for adults and £10 for young people aged ten to 17, are available from www.fakefestivals.co.uk
