Half-term children’s workshops at county libraries

STORYTELLING and musical workshops for children will take place in south east Northumberland libraries during the February half-term holidays.

The free sessions will be a chance for youngsters to explore stories and music hands-on in informal sessions with a professional writer

The workshops – suitable for five to 11-year-olds – will be run by author and storyteller Tony Wilson, next week.

The first workshop takes place on Monday, February 18, at Ellington Library, in Lynemouth Road, between 2.30pm and 4pm.

And on Wednesday, February 20, a session will be held at Seaton Sluice Library, at Seaton Sluice Community Centre, in Albert Road, between 10am and 11.30am.

For more information, call Seaton Sluice Library on (0191) 237 0210 or email seatonsluicelibrary@northumberland.gov.uk, or call Ellington Library on (01670) 860 268 or email ellingtonlibrary@northumberland.gov.uk
