Museum hosts dance event

THE Blyth Battery Volunteers are hosting a 1940’s themed Spring Dance to celebrate the re-opening of the Blyth Battery Museum for the 2013 season.

Live entertainment will be provided all evening by Jay-B with his tribute to the Legends of Swing, and George Formby impersonator Colin Bourdiec, singing all your wartime favourites.

The dance will be held on Saturday, March 16, from 7.30pm until midnight at The Seahorse, Plessey Road, Blyth.

Tickets cost £10 and include a hot buffet, and are available by calling the Blyth Battery Volunteers on 07881 462284 or by emailing bbv1916@hotmail.co.uk
