Visitors are being invited to Woodhorn Museum this August Bank Holiday to enjoy some of Northumberland’s wildlife.
On Monday, August 26, there will be guided feeder visits as people can try and spot one of the museum’s red squirrels with help from Northern Red Squirrels.
There will be guided feeder visits, and the chance to browse wildlife information stalls and make wildlife themed crafts.
There will also be an interactive bird of prey displays, with flying demonstrations at noon and 2pm.
Northern Red Squirrels are running a photography competition leading up to the day, with a closing date of Saturday, August 17.
