Voicemale and Werca’s Folk will present a singing workshop and concert in Blyth next month.
The event, on Saturday, July 6, is the second of three in a project entitled The Coble, the Kye and the Coal, which is funded by the BBC Performing Arts Fund.
Singers of all abilities are invited to attend the workshop with Graham Stacy and Sandra Kerr, directors of the two choirs, at the Central Methodist Church, Blyth.
The workshop runs from 11am to 5pm, and will explore the lives of Northumberland’s people in song.
The fee of £10 per singer, to cover materials and a ticket to the evening concert.
The workshop will culminate in a concert, where participants will perform together with Voicemale and Werca’s Folk at 7pm.
