A community enterprise based at Northumberlandia is calling on youngsters to take part in an event at the landform this June.
Footprints on the Moon is part of The Big Wild Rumpus 2015, a nationwide campaign to celebrate the nation’s love of the Maurice Sendak book, Where the Wild Things Are, on Saturday, June 13.
Annemarie Martin, from Footprints on the Moon, said: “This summer, wild things will be gathering in villages, towns and cities across the country on June 13 at 11am to read the book out loud and have a Big Wild Rumpus in the middle.
“Come and join us for crafts, games, dancing and reading in the wonderful woods of Northumberlandia.”
