Cowritten by Seth Rogen who also appears in the film as one half of the dimwitted police duo,
Superbad is just what you'd expect.
Three close friends Seth (Jonah Hill), Evan (Michael Cera) and Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) have just two week until they graduate from high-school and are determined not to go to college virgins.
And when Seth gets invited to a graduation party thrown by the gorgeous Jules (Emma Stone), the race is on to get booze.
With the promise of a fake ID from Fogell, Seth tells Jules he'll supply the alcohol for the party - but Fogell's brand-new Hawaiian driver's license is hardly convincing.

Despite the obvious fake, Seth and Evan - who's object of desire Becca will also be at the party, are determined to get the ladies the booze they promised them.
But when the shop McLuvin is in gets robbed and he gets knocked unconscious, the polie arrive and Seth and Evan run off with a total stranger who promises to get them alcohol.
As Seth and Evan begin their night of mayhem, McLuvin is left in control of the two reckless policemen (Seth Rogen and Bill Hader) who think McLuvin is a legend.
McLuvin and the police officers are the real stars of the film, and wherever they go, laughter soon follows.
My favourite moment of the film is when a very drunken Seth and Evan reveal their feelings about each other at the end of the night, which is just classic teen humour.
This film does exactly what it says on the tin. It is crude, and hugely entertaining.
