WITH a gold selling album fast approaching platinum, Alesha Dixon has announced her own fabulous headline tour - calling in at Newcastle in October.
Over the past six months Alesha's status has rocketed to superstardom. Since shimmying her way into the charts with The Boy Does Nothing and Breathe Slow, she has sold over 750,000 records, been a personal guest of Gordon and Sarah Brown at Downing Street, and most recently completed an awe inspiring epic climb to the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro helping raise over £3m for Comic Relief.
Having supported Latino heartthrob Enrique Inglesias on several dates of his European tour Alesha is ready to fly solo and for the first time fans will be able to see her perform with a live band exclusively for them on a 17-date UK tour kicking off in Nottingham on October 20.
Along with her phenomenal UK support, Alesha is one of a few UK artists also enjoying international success with The Boy Does Nothing which has sat in the continent's top ten airplay for four months, as well as hitting the top five iTunes charts and debuting straight in at No.2 on the French charts this week.
Not only a household name, Alesha is also an artist at the top of her game, an electrifying dancer with Formula One levels of va-va-voom and an accomplished songwriter and singer with her own unique sound – welcome to The Alesha Show!
Alesha Dixon will be at Newcastle's City Hall on Wednesday, October 28.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, May 8, and are available now by calling (0191) 261 2606.
