AT just 26-years-old Daniel Merriweather is preparing to take on the music world with his debut album Love and War.
Born and bred in Melbourne, Daniel Merriweather started playing the violin aged just four.
Having quickly garnered industry attention in Australia, signing with indie-label Marlin, he begun work on tracks for his debut album that he would later shelve.
It was producer of the moment Mark Ronson who fell in love with Daniel's voice, and ultimately led to the creation of Love and War.
First single off the album, Red, is a song about a relationship gone wrong, and is as catchy as it is likeable.
It is every bit the classic debut music fans would have hoped and more, filled from start to finish with thrilling hit singles to boot, and is a long, long way from busking on a street corner in Melbourne.
Love and War offers a great mix of up-tempo dance tunes like Impossible and Could You, and the big blues numbers like the incredible Red, which is by far my favourite track on the album, and For Your Money.
Daniel offers stunning vocals and makes jazz accessible to all in a great debut album.
