REPORTS claim Newcastle have had a bid for Blackburn Rovers' former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock rejected.
The Times newspaper said United submitted a £3m bid for the full-back but the offer was turned down by the Ewood Park club.

The Ormskirk born player only moved from Anfield to Blackburn in January 2007 for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £1.5m.

United manager Kevin Keegan is in the market for a left-back as competition for Spanish Under-21 international Jose Enrique.
