The national newspaper quotes a 'Toon source' saying: "There has been a lot of bickering about wages.
"Charles can be a wind-up merchant and Abdoulaye didn't take very kindly to it.
"It was incredibly heated but the other players calmed them down."
Both players went on to play for United at Goodison Park, where the home side ran out comfortable 3-1 winners.
