A shopping centre has launched a community bursary scheme to give one county charity £5,000.
Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure in Cramlington is giving customers the chance to nominate a charity they feel most deserves a helping hand from the Hammerson Local Community Bursary.
The scheme aims to support charities who undertake vital work in the various communities in Northumberland.
Manor Walks general manager Bruno Coppola said: “The Hammerson Local Community is a great opportunity for the county’s charities to win a serious amount of money, which could make a real difference to their work.
“We look forward to hearing about all of the different work that goes on around us.”
Sarah Breavington, community manager at Hammerson, added: “There is some marvellous work being done by charitable organisations throughout the county and we’re pleased to offer one a £5,000 bursary to help aid their crucial good work.”
Application forms are available from the Manor Walks Centre Management Suite or via (01670) 735023 or email email@example.com
Forms should be returned by 5pm on Sunday, April 28, with the winning charity being announced in May.
