Police are appealing for information after a theft from a building site in Bedlington Station.

A number of tools and building equipment was stolen from a building site in Burnside between midday on Tuesday, June 16, and 11am on Wednesday, June 17.

Around £6,600 worth of equipment was taken including a Henry 110v lightweight vacuum cleaner, a Hitachi hammer drill, a number of KVA petrol generators, a Honda cement mixer, a Husqvarna chopsaw and pieces of scaffolding equipment.

Enquiries are ongoing to locate the stolen items and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 292 17/06/15.
