Almost 1,000 visitors called into a Northumberland Christmas Tree Festival.
Blyth’s St Cuthbert’s Church, in Plessey Road, hosted its third such event last month, and this year there was the addition of a musical programme, which proved extremely popular.
The trees, which were sponsored by local businesses and community groups, were stunning in their originality, and visitors were encouraged to vote for their favourite.
A diverse range of music was offered during the week-long event, from mandolin and brass bands to school choirs and Jarrow Choral Society.
The festival closed with a Big Sing coffee morning, with all money raised going to Christian Aid.
