ASHINGTON’S All-in-One Company is attracting nationwide attention after landing roles in two prime-time advertising campaigns.

The North Seaton Industrial Estate firm’s sleepsuits are featured in Harveys Furniture’s sponsorship slots for Coronation Street and also in Dulux’s ads for a new jungle-themed paint range.

And as if if that were not enough, Kate Dawson, the firm’s founder has been asked to supply sleepsuits, also known as onesies, for pop group Steps’ ongoing reunion tour and supermodel turned bodybuilder Jodie Marsh.

Kate, a finalist in the small business category at last year’s North East Business Awards, is also in talks with Ashington’s Northumberland College about establishing apprenticeships in sewing and embroidery following successful placements of students.

“It’s all been a bit of a whirlwind, but it’s been a bit like that since we started out just three and a half years ago,” said Kate.

“The team has now grown to 15 and what has been really satisfying over the past 16 months is that we have been able to keep on, as full-time staff, people we initially recruited on temporary contracts for the Christmas rush.

“When we started, a lot of our effort was geared around the end of the year, but although that will probably remain our busiest time, our onesies, designed by our customers and made by hand, seem to be in demand the whole year round.

“The interest from TV and big companies like Harveys Furniture and Dulux is fantastic, but our priority is, and will remain, with our customers.”
