A beach clean up is taking place on Monday as part of the National Marine Conservation Society’s Great British Beach Clean.
Northumberland Wildlife Trust’s Living Seas Officer Aurelie Bohan will be hosting a beach litter pick on Cresswell Beach on the Monday, September 22, between 1pm and 3pm, with items collected being recorded and sent off to the Marine Conservation Society for its national survey.
Anyone who wants to join in can meet Aurelie at the car park north of Cresswell Village just before 1pm.
Gloves, bags and litter picking devices will be provided.
