Pupils in Bedlington have visited the home of their footballing heroes to find inspiration for their own careers.
Youngsters from Bedlingtonshire Community High School and Meadowdale Academy teamed up for the visit to Newcastle United’s St James’ Park.
The day focused on career opportunities, and the Year 8 pupils were given tips on preparing personal statements and listing their attributes.
There was a closer look at qualifications and what may be required for certain careers, and the youngsters considered their subject choices for when they move into Year 9 in September.
Three workshops were held, and there was also a tour of the stadium.
