Bins survey gives chance to win wind up radio

RESIDENTS who take part in a survey about waste and recycling services could win an environmentally friendly wind up radios.

The county council survey asks people what they think of collections of garden waste, bulky waste, recycling and other waste; the service they receive when they visit a household waste recovery centre; and the facilities available at recycling sites such as those in local car parks.

Coun Ian Lindley said: “We aim to provide the best possible waste services for residents.

“However, it is only through feedback that we can gauge how we are doing and make any further improvements that are required.

“I would urge people to complete these surveys.”

Residents who have used one or more of the services in the last 12 months are asked to complete the online questionnaire at www.northumberland.gov.uk before Monday, February 28.
