A boat was towed back to harbour after a rope became tangled in its propeller while it was out fishing.

The propeller of the Wendy G became tangled in a rope while it was fishing off St Mary's Island late on Monday afternoon.

Blyth RNLI's Atlantic 75 lifeboat was called and towed the boat, with two people on board, back to Seaton Sluice harbour.
