Staff at Homes for Northumberland enjoyed a team building event with a difference, thanks to Cowpen and Crofton Welfare Bowls Club.
Seven staff teams were given a lesson in bowling from the experts at the Blyth-based club, followed by six challenges including ‘Laser Quest’, ‘Robin Hood’ and ‘Blockbusters’.
Each team picked their name, identity and motto for the day, with fancy dress costumes to match.
At the end of the tournament, points where counted and the ‘Gnomes for Northumberland’ team were awarded the winner’s trophy.
Ian Johnson, director of operations at Homes for Northumberland, said: “Everyone really enjoyed the whole day.
“We appreciate all of the hard work that Cowpen and Crofton Welfare Bowls Club put into the activities on the day.”
Bowls club committee member Kevin Wylie said: “We were really pleased to be invited to get involved in this event as it was great to see staff get so enthusiastic about the bowling exercises.
“It was a fun filled day and we were delighted that the participants enjoyed it so much.”
