The firm aims to increase the number of businesses in Northumberland and ensure they are best able to survive, thrive and grow.

A variety of business workshops is also available to those based in Cramlington, Ashington, Blyth and the surrounding area, on the legal and practical aspects of starting, such as business planning, managing money, social media, marketing, sales and tax.
Meanwhile Northumberland College has shown its support for the awards for several years, and is proudly sponsoring the Apprenticeship Ambassador Award again this year.
The college works with more than 700 businesses across the north east including small businesses and large enterprises from industry sectors as diverse as construction, to early years and professional services.
The college, which is ranked within the top ten per cent in England, offers industry standard training through its campuses and one of the largest range of apprenticeships in the region with over 40 subject frameworks.
Its dedicated business development team delivers tailored training solutions to meet employer needs.
A college spokesperson said: “The Apprenticeship Ambassador Award recognises and celebrates employers who are committed to developing their workforce through apprenticeships and we would encourage employers to enter the awards.”
This year there is a new category, the Social Enterprise Award, and businesses will be judged in the mid to large business of the year category, and the micro/small business category, which will both be split into rural and south east Northumberland.
