A cloud consultancy practice has invested in new premises as it continues to expand its client base within the region and beyond.

Cramlington-based SITS Group and its sister company Pivotal Networks, which provide cloud computing solutions, have relocated to a larger neighbouring building at Berrymoor Court situated on Northumberland Business Park.

The move to 5,250sq ft Cirrus House is the fourth for the company, which counts fire and rescue services, police forces, law firms and manufacturers amongst its clients, and marks a new phase in its growth.

SITS Group’s commercial director, Phil Cambers, said: “The business has expanded rapidly to include national and international clients and we were fast outgrowing our 2,250sq ft offices.

“However, Northumberland Business Park has been a great base for us as it offers excellent parking, transport links and superb build quality, so we were delighted when developer Gladman Developments proposed Cirrus House.”

The company attributes its success to an early decision to provide a highly specialist service.

Phil added: “Our customers really value the depth of our knowledge and now we hope this move will give us the opportunity to grow and potentially to double our existing 30-strong workforce to meet the ongoing demands of our ever-growing customer base.”

The move was supported with a Let’s Grow Regional Growth Fund grant.
