A Blyth company is continue to expand its ranks as it deals with more demand for its drug and alcohol testing equipment.

International safety and medical solutions provider Dräger has appointed Andrew Lowdon as its new marketing manager for the impairment and sales channel partner sectors.

Andrew, who first joined Dräger in 2013 as a business development manager, has responsibility for UK product portfolio management and internal training on products and services for drug and alcohol testing.

He said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to take a hands-on role to develop what could potentially be one of Dräger’s fastest growing sectors.

“Impairment screening is becoming increasingly important across a range of industries and as an international safety specialist, Dräger, is well placed to serve most possible scenarios.

“One of the things I am looking forward to most is engaging more with existing customers and learning more about their user experience as well as meeting new clients and discussing how Dräger technology can help safeguard their workforce, their brand and their customers.”
