A recruitment company has re-opened its doors to jobseekers in south east Northumberland.

Adecco Recruitment Agency, one of the world’s biggest recruitment providers working in 30 countries and with more than 100 branches around the UK, has re-opened its Cramlington branch in Dudley Court, Manor Walks.

The firm, which is now based in Suite 21, was forced to close the Cramlington office and move to Newcastle when the recession hit in 2008.

But over the last year, Adecco has seen an increase in employment and the decision was made to open two new branches, one in Cramlington and the other in Nottingham.

Branch manager Mike Kumar said: “As we are situated next to the new development at Manor Walks, you can feel that there are going to be some good changes within the area that will hopefully bring in more investment and with this new jobs.

“Clients in Northumberland sometimes have difficulty in finding the right candidates for the roles that they have and Adecco are here to offer that support not only to the people that are looking for work, but also to the clients in the area.

“We are here to support the local businesses and the local people.”
