Buyers from around the region are being invited to attend a major trade event aimed at boosting the sale of locally made goods across the county and beyond.
The ‘Meet the Maker, Meet the Buyer’ event will be held on Thursday, February 26, at Blyth Sports Centre.
Northumberland County Council is organising the dayas part of its drive to support local businesses.
More than 100 have already signed up to promote their wares including local food and drink producers, artists, crafts people and musicians.
The event will also be of interest to hotels, bed and breakfasts and self-catering providers, as well as coffee shops and restaurants, specialist retailers, attractions and art and craft galleries.
Other businesses looking to purchase local art for their shops and showrooms may also find the event interesting and useful.
Northumberland county councillor Val Tyler, policy board member for community infrastructure and culture, said: “The event is part of our drive to help support local businesses.
“We want as many local companies as possible to benefit by bringing together some fantastic local suppliers and regional buyers and opening up new networking and business opportunities for them.”
