Can we have less negativity from our MPs?

A question regarding MP Ronnie Campbell’s article (News Post Leader, April 24) in which he bemoans the possible exploitation of foreign immigrant workers.

Did he run out of space, or was it a convenient lapse of memory, which prevented him from mentioning that it was the Labour government, then in power and of which he was a member, that opened the floodgates of foreign immigration?

Had this not been the case I am sure the numbers involved would not be anywhere near those which now appear to cause him so much concern.

And please, local MPs, can we have a little less negativity. Oh, sorry, I forgot, you are Labour, and it seems to have nothing positive to say about anything nowadays.
