A centenarian from south east Northumberland was joined by her family and friends for her special birthday at the weekend.
Louisa Green celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends at her home in Hartford Court in Cramlington.
Louisa went to Cramlington Village School before becoming a hairdresser, and met her husband Robert at a local dance.
The couple had three children, and they also fostered 32 children over a ten year period.
Rachel Todd from Helen McArdle Care, which runs Hartford Court, said: “We are delighted to be celebrating with Louisa and her family on such a happy day.”
Louisa also had a party on Saturday with more than 30 friends and family.
