Shoppers used a supermarket’s community scheme to help raise funds for three charities.

Every two months Asda in Cramlington pick three new charities to go into the green token scheme.

This time, Macmillan Cancer Support proved to be the most popular among customers and it received a cheque for £200.

Cramlington Youth Project and Shanklea Primary School each received £50.
