Wansbeck Citizens Advice Bureau is looking for volunteers to become gateway assessors as some of their existing volunteers move to paid employment.
Gateway assessors meet people face to face or speak to them on the phone, going through the client’s query and assisting with information. Wansbeck CAB is starting a new telephone project on April 1, when they will be taking calls from all over Northumberland and Gateway assessors would be the ones taking the calls. The CAB is looking for people of all ages and backgrounds who can volunteer on a regular basis.Full training will be offered and out-of-pocket expenses will be paid to get to the Bureau.
