Church services over Christmas period

A SERIES of Christmas and New Year services will be taking place across the south east Northumberland.

St Nicholas Church in Cramlington will hold a crib service at 4pm on Saturday, December 24, and a town carol service at 6pm.

They will then hold a Christmas Holy Communion on Christmas Day at 8am and again at 10.15am, and a Holy Communion at 10am on December 28, and 10.15am on January 1.

St Andrew’s Church, near the Beaconhill Community Centre in Cramlington, will hold a family carol service on Christmas Eve at 4pm, and a Christmas Communion at 10.30am on Christmas Day, followed by family worship at 10.30am on January 1.

St Peter’s Church on Horton Drive, Cramlington, will hold a 4.30pm carol service on Christmas Eve, and a Holy Communion at 10.30am on Christmas Day, followed by a 10.30am family servce on January 1 and cafe church at 10.30am on January 8.

St Bartholomew’s Church in Newbiggin will hold a carol service at 6pm on Christmas Eve, and a Holy Communion at 8am on Christmas Day.

Midnight mass will take place at St Benedict’s Church, Brierley Road, Cowpen, Blyth, at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve.
